Handcrafted, and wonderfully FEELS hand-crafted, organic; its "imperfections" are anything but - the sharp corners, slight blemishes, and matte, but textured, feel is the closest you can get to an actual, ancient deck. It's even packaged beautifully. I can't say enough on how pleased i am with this purchase. It's everything an antique display OR functional, practicing deck should be, in my opinion. I'm extremely picky about decks i buy, and this is by far the most beautiful, and made with the most personal touch.
I absolutely love these cards and it has become my new favorite deck! It features gorgeous diverse ethnic representation, and the silk matte stock is a pleasure to shuffle. The all-black background and edges really make the colors pop. The enegery is terrific and readings are accurate from first shuffle. ❤❤❤
I've been reading tarot cards for over 20 years and have an MA in Sufi literature, so this seemed too perfect. Still, I was cautiously optimistic about how these two traditions would be explored alongside each other. The interpretations of each card are like nothing I've read before. It's more than the typical booklet in a new tarot deck; it includes thoughtful, thorough analysis of each card and its connection to Sufi thought. I also appreciate the affirmations that come with each card. I'm deeply moved this deck and it has already impacted my lifelong study of both traditions and how they are intertwined.

This book will save you shelf space of many books on the history and overall practical application of Tarot. It’s from Robert M. Place. He’s been doing amazing legwork for us for years. He presents all information very fairly for mystics and people who are super secular alike. He also presents all information in a way that I think is friendly for entry level big book readers. You have the scholarship benefits without the often really unnecessary $5 words. Even if you don’t have his decks this is a great book for any Tarot enthusiast, practitioner etc

You can feel the years of devotion the artist dedicated to this work! Hands down, the most moving and visually entrancing deck I have encountered. This is definitely a deck for contemplation that speaks to the depths of the human and spiritual experience, including a guidebook of poetic entries for each card.
