In 2013, James launched himself into the world of divination with the creation of his first tarot deck. The momentum from that project led him to establish Prisma Visions a year later, where he went on to design nearly a dozen more divination tools. In 2016, James pioneered the use of Tilt Brush—a virtual reality art platform created by Google—to paint immersive, explorable realms. His collaborations with Google, SoulPancake, and VR Scout expanded the boundaries of VR creativity.
By 2021, James and his brother Sean co-founded Eads Bros., unveiling their first collaboration, Pocket Visions, a tarot-reading app for mobile devices. Their current endeavor is an upcoming video game, which will soon be released to the public. Across all these ventures, James’s work remains unmistakably dreamlike and post-impressionistic, serving as maps to new worlds. His art illuminates the deep connections between nature, humanity, and the self, reminding of the underlying magic in everything.
