What if an image could be experienced like a perfume?
Danielle developed Visual Perfumery, a synesthetic approach that translates the architecture of fragrance into visual form. Like a perfume unfolding through top, middle, and base notes, images can reveal themselves in layers—creating associations, memories, and emotional responses along the way.
This approach comes to life in Danielle’s 79-card Perfume for the Eyes: A Tarot of Dreams, where Tarot becomes a meeting place for visual art, perfume, intuition, and personal experience.
At the center of Saturday’s event is The Perfumed Vitrine, an interactive sensory installation that brings the ideas behind Visual Perfumery into the physical world.
Guests are invited to explore the relationship between image and fragrance—encountering scent alongside visual elements and allowing their own memories, associations, and intuition to become part of the experience.
There is no right way to experience it. Linger, explore, follow what catches your eye or draws your senses, and discover what happens when something seen begins to suggest something remembered—or smelled.
Danielle Delceppo is a Visual Perfumer, Divinatory Artist, Tarot Reader and Astrologer who explores the intersection of sensory memory and personal narrative.
Danielle developed Visual Perfumery—a singular, synesthetic method that translates the architecture of perfume (top, middle, and base notes) into layered visual landscapes. By treating visual elements as aromatic notes, she evokes the expansive, atmospheric narrative of the archetypal Tarot, allowing each card to unfold as a multisensory experience, a visual perfume.
Danielle will be with us throughout Saturday’s event to share her work, answer questions, and sign copies of Perfume for the Eyes: A Tarot of Dreams.
