This unique deck is the result of a long-term collaboration between occult author and magician Nick Farrell and artist-magicians Harry and Nicola Wendrich, each bringing decades of spiritual practice, research, and artistic devotion to the project.
Working closely with the Golden Dawn's original Tarot framework—particularly the instructions preserved in the manuscript known as Book “T”—the creators have constructed a deck that remains strikingly faithful to tradition while embracing modern insight and technique.
Through meditative practices and visionary exploration, the Wendriches translated the archetypal energies of the cards into luminous imagery. One of the most innovative features of the deck is its use of magenta, a color unavailable in non-fading pigments during the original Golden Dawn era. This update enhances the deck’s energy and refines the system of “flashing colors,” creating more accurate and vibrant visual keys.
Every detail is steeped in symbolism—from the decan-assigned pip cards and charioted Kings (following Book “T”) to the mythological and astrological themes woven throughout the Major Arcana. For example, The Lovers card evokes the tale of Andromeda and Perseus, emphasizing heroic love and liberation rather than the more familiar Biblical motifs of other decks.
