Additional Details

The Pagan Otherworlds Tarot includes 6 additional cards, compared to a standard Tarot pack, bringing the total to 84. These cards are:

  • 5 silver holographic "Luna Cards"

o    Full Moon
o    Gibbous Moon (Waxing or Waning, depending on orientation)
o    Quarter Moon (Waxing or Waning, depending on orientation)
o    Crescent Moon (Waxing or Waning, depending on orientation)
o    New Moon

  • The Seeker (23rd Major Arcana Card): A card that symbolizes exploration, curiosity, and spiritual discovery.

Ways to Work with the Lunar Phase Cards

  • Incorporate the cards into the main deck

When drawn, interpret the card’s lunar phase and its orientation to reveal its influence on the reading.

    • A Waxing Gibbous (upright) indicates perseverance is required before results manifest.
    •  A Waning Quarter (reversed) suggests it’s time to let go of what no longer serves you.
  •  Separate Oracle for Lunar Guidance:

Draw a Lunar Phase card separately to add lunar insight to a tarot spread or use it to guide your day-to-day energy according to the moon’s phase.

  • Timing and Planning
    • Use the cards to indicate when to act or reflect based on the moon’s phases. For example:
    • Waxing phases (upright Crescent, Quarter, Gibbous) favor growth, action, and effort.
    • Waning phases (reversed Crescent, Quarter, Gibbous) favor release, reflection, and closure.
    • Ritual or Meditation Tool

Ways to work with The Seeker Card (23rd Major Arcana)

The Seeker expands the Major Arcana and introduces an archetype focused on exploration, curiosity, and the pursuit of wisdom. It differs from The Fool in that it reflects intentional searching rather than blind faith.

How to Use "The Seeker"

As part of the deck: Interpret it as a call to embark on a journey of discovery, whether external (travel, learning new skills) or internal (self-awareness, spiritual exploration).

  • Keywords: Exploration, curiosity, spiritual seeking, openness.
  • Upright: A willingness to step into the unknown.
  • Reversed: Hesitation to explore or fear of the unknown.

As a Signifier: Use it as a personal card during periods of transition or self-discovery, serving as a reminder to trust your path.

Meditation or Journaling: Reflect on what you are seeking in life—what questions remain unanswered? How can you embrace exploration?

Love this deck

I love this deck and got a second one for a friend. The companion book is so-so. It would be worth it if it came with the deck but it’s a steep price for a black and white companion book.
