About the Creator

James Ferry is an illustrator whose work is inspired by a lifelong love of nature and an appreciation for bold graphic design. Influenced by both contemporary illustration and the ligne claire comic tradition, he creates richly stylized worlds where plants, animals, and symbolic imagery merge into vibrant visual narratives.

Raised in Louisiana and now living in Texas, Ferry continues to draw inspiration from forests, native plants, and wildlife. His distinctive artistic vision gives the Rider-Waite-Smith tradition a fresh botanical voice that feels both imaginative and deeply connected to the natural world.
