About the Author — Stav Appel

Stav Appel is a lifelong student of Torah and a data scientist whose work spans peacebuilding, international service, and advanced study of Biblical Hebrew at Hebrew University and Yale Divinity School. His close reading of symbolic imagery inspired a deeper investigation into potential Judaic threads within the early Tarot. He lectures widely on this topic and shares ongoing work at @torah.tarot.
