Anne Stokes Gothic Oracle: Deck & Book Set

Anne Stokes is the reigning queen of fantasy art. She is best know for strong female characters and her portrayal of mythical creatures especially dragons. The symbolism behind her art gives the images powerful meanings that  speak to our deeper selves. Indeed a perfect fit for an oracle. Author Steven Bright curated the deck using images that will help you tap into your unconscious mind and receive the messages that you need in the moment. He has authored a wonderful 114 page guidebook that covers bonding with your cards, suggestions for sample spreads and tips for reading for yourself or others.  The set includes 48 red gilt-edged cards a guidebook and a hard two part storage box with holographic foil on the cover. The cards and book measure approximately 3.5" X 5.25."  Both have beautiful metallic red guiding on the sides.

Anne Stokes

Originally from London, Stokes has had an interest in the fantasy genre since her father read The Hobbit to her as a child.

She has illustrated for Wizards of the Coast, including Dungeons & Dragons.Her Dungeons & Dragons work includes interior art for the 3.5 edition books Monster Manual III (2004), Player's Handbook II (2006), Monster Manual IV (2006), Fiendish Codex I: Hordes of the Abyss (2006), Complete Mage (2006), Magic Item Compendium (2007), Monster Manual V (2007) and Rules Compendium (2007), and the 4th edition Monster Manual (2008) and Manual of the Planes (2008).

Stokes did the cover artwork for the One Minute Silence album Available in All Colours.

Steven Bright

Steven Bright is the author of Tarot: Your Personal Guide (Quarto) and the creator of Spirit Within Tarot (Schiffer). He is also the co-founder and editor of The Esotoracle, a worldwide magazine dedicated to all forms of divination.

As well as writing for Watkins, Mind Body & Spirit, The Cartomancer and Take a Break Fate & Fortune, Steven has also presented at The UK Tarot Conference, The London Tarot Festival and the TABI conference in Birmingham. A keen collaborator, Steven has worked with Christiana Gaudet, Brigit Esselmonte and Tori Hartman, amongst others.
