Creator

Wren McMurdo Brignac is a digital illustrator, painter, designer, and Tarot deck creator based in the Pacific Northwest, where she lives with her spouse Schquay, their dog Bonni, and birds RuPaul and Bo Birdham. Inspired by nature’s rhythms, femininity, diversity, and emotional depth, Wren creates intuitive, symbolic works that honor both light and shadow.

She is the creator of the acclaimed Dark Days Tarot, a deck born from the introspective final days of the lunar cycle. Designed for those who feel deeply and connect with the moon’s pull, this deck invites reflection and healing through its richly illustrated cards. In 2021, Wren released her second deck, Mother Tarot, a project centered on Earth, birth, and creativity—illustrated over three years as she and her partner explored the possibility of parenthood.

Together, Wren’s decks reflect the dynamic nature of her bipolar mind and her deep attunement to life’s cycles. Her art and writing offer a nurturing space for self-inquiry, healing, and growth.
