Insects Tarot by Osvaldo Menegazzi

$85.00

The Tarocco Degli Insetti is from "The Arcana" series created by Maestro Osvaldo Menegazzi.

In this unique deck, Menegazzi created classic insect paintings where each insect represents the attributes of the corresponding Major Arcana architype. A spider dangles from a web for the Hanged One, a fire fly for the Star, a praying mantis for the Devil and of course, a scorpion for the Death card. The 22 cards have Italian titles, measure approximately 3.25" x 5", have square corners and a matt finish. This 2nd edition was published in 2011 in a small print of 250 decks. The deck number from the edition will be revealed on the title card after opening the sealed deck.  Though a guidebook is not included, those familiar with the Tarot will delight in the clever ways Menegazzi paints the elemental architype traits into each card.

BUGS!

These are beautiful cards. I love insects and tarot so this is a prefect combo for me. Can’t see using them for a reading. They are majors only and better for collecting and/or framing? Some of the borders are very uneven but I guess that is due to the nature of how these cards are made.
