Limited Late 19th Century Faro Playing Cards

In Stock Soon
$10.00

The Squared Faro #366 was first produced by Russell & Morgan Co. in 1887. The name comes from the game Faro which was a popular at that time.  TarotArts recommends this deck for divination because the full figure court cards create spreads alive with interaction.  Full figure cards also open up the up the possibility of working with reversed meanings.  The expressive line work incorporates many features from earlier woodblock decks and divination users will appreciate the way the court eyes are peering out at each other or pip cards.  This version has been digitally recreated to accurately represent the artwork of the original, but on a modern USPCC printed deck with rounded corners which make for easy shuffling.

Surprised and Delighted

I bought this deck on a whim, but also with an eye to learning to read a "regular" set of playing cards. I figured, for ten bucks, what's the risk? These cards are amazing. Great playing card stock, Poker size, slick, flexible, sturdy, easy to shuffle. The court cards are charming, with expressive faces and the confident line work of a skilled artist.
