1850 Original Sibilla reproduction by Il Meneghello

This Sibilla published by Il Meneghello Edizioni in 2019, faithfully reproduces the original issued by Lattanzio Lamperti maker in approximately 1850.  The Sibilla is reminiscent of Gypsy cards but contains 52 cards like a playing card deck. There are suits (Hearts, Clubs, Diamonds and Spades) and each card contains an image depicting events from every day life. Tradition holds that the cards can be interpreted with  both upright and reversed meanings.  This Listing is for a limited edition release from 2019 of 1,000 decks. The smaller sized cards, quality cardstock and unvarnished finish make these cards a pleasure to hold in your hands and give the cards an authentic old world feeling. The deck comes new, sealed and packaged in a lovely reinforced cardboard box with the Amore card attached with the famous Il Meneghello wax seal.  The exact number for the edition will be revealed on the title card when opening the deck.
