Creator
Nitasia Roland is a writer, poet, and digital artist with an Interdisciplinary Masters Degree in English, Poetry, Printmaking, and Design, as well as an MFA in Creative Writing. With a background in handmade textiles, book arts, teaching Photoshop, and editing and publishing small press journals, she is well-versed in the world of esoterica. As a practitioner of magic, divination, and avid Tarot card reader and astrology enthusiast for over 20 years, Nitasia has a deep appreciation for the art and literature of 19th century English and French Symbolists. She approaches their works with a keen animistic perspective, believing that all things have a spirit. This belief is reflected in the Tarot Chimera, where she digitally enhances and interprets the chimeric spirit of Odilon Redon's evocative and enigmatic visions through the Tarot card format. After being called to gather and align Redon's art into a unique Tarot deck she created Tarot Chimera which she successfully launched on Kickstarter is the Summer of 2021
