Mithras Halcyon - hand dripped Byzantine Beeswax Candles. 3.2" base

The Halcyon series represents our platonic ideal of a candle with regard to both form and function. They're wide with a robust wick and cast a golden light. The Halcyon I is the stout entry to this series, preferred by scribes and dwarves of the mountain with a 100-120 hour burn time. The Halcyon II is one our most beautiful candles and has enough bee-produced energy to last an entire season with a burn time of 160-180 hours. The Halcyon III is a tall marvel at 8.5” 

The ancient god Mithras was of Persian/Zoroastrian origin, a protector of truth and a god of illumination who was later incorporated into a mystery cult in ancient Rome.
